Faculty members from the Pangasinan State University-Open University Systems (PSU-OUS) participated in the Hands-on Workshop in Vital Source Explore, Digital Media Learning, and E-Journals by C&E Educational Solutions Group last April 1, 2022 at the DVITC Library.
Mr. Kelvin Gonzales (Business Solutions Officer) of the C&E Educational Solutions Group discussed the features of the different above-mentioned e-learning resources that the said company offers in partnership with PSU. Vital Source Explore and Philippine Ebook Hub lets users borrow e-books, add annotations, and even highlight important ideas to such. While Philippine E-Journals lets users access a variety of online journals and published research articles. On the other hand, Gale Cengage Powerpack lets users browse both e-books and e-journals.
Dr. Phillip G. Queroda (Executive Director) along with other OUS faculty members: Dr. Erna Salazar (Deputy Director for Academics, Research, and Extension); Dr. Cristie Dalisay (Director for ETTEAP); and Mr. Levi Jethro N. Balgua (Coordinator for PRPIO) actively listened and explored the features that Mr. Gonzales has discussed.
Attending such activity lets the PSU-OUS faculty refresh their knowledge and skills on the resources that the University has to offer in support of the provision of quality education to students.
PSU-OUS constantly takes steps towards continuous and lifelong learning in the digital era where the environment is ever-changing.
