Two weeks after its initial meeting, the technical working committee for the proposed revision of the Master of Arts in Education major in Instructional Leadership and Master of Science in Fisheries curricula met again at the PSU OUS Office and via Zoom Platform for the presentation of the curricular offerings of the said programs earlier today, October 26.
This hyflex meeting provided the platform for Dr. Grace G. De Vera and Dr. Sotero M. Aban, the program advisers for MAED- IL and MS Fisheries respectively, to present the collective efforts of the technical working committee. In their individual presentations, De Vera and Aban introduced the proposed course offerings, comprehensive course descriptions, and the curriculum mapping designed by the working team.
Dr. Phillip G. Queroda, OUS Executive Director, along with Deputy Directors Dr. Erna M. Salazar and Dr. Romary R. Lincod, and other members of the working commitee, provided valuable feedback and insightful suggestions aimed at enhancing the work of both groups.
The curriculum revamp for the two programs seeks to raise the bar for academic excellence while ensuring alignment with CHED’s CMO No. 15 s. 2019, which outlines the Policies and Standards for Graduate Programs. This modernization effort is geared towards ensuring that PSU OUS programs are in sync with the evolving needs of the graduates and the community.
