๐๐๐ก๐ ๐๐๐๐ฌ, ๐ฃ๐๐ก๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ก๐๐กโ With the vision to impart significant concepts on gender and SOGIESC, marketing strategies, and financial management, and develop entrepreneurial skills among marginalized members of Barangay Caloocan Norte, Binmaley, Pangasinan , the Pangasinan State University- Open University Systems (PSU- OUS) in partnership with PSU Lingayen Campus (PSU- LC) and Gender and Development Office, led a 2-day training called ๐ฟ๐๐ฃ๐๐๐โ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ก ๐ผ ๐๐๐ ๐น๐๐ โ ๐น๐๐๐๐๐๐ , ๐น๐๐ โ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ , ๐๐๐ ๐น๐๐ โ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ถ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ก๐ last February 23, 2023.
Proposed by OUS Executive Director Dr. Phillip G. Queroda, Lingayen Campus Executive Director Dr. Renato E. Salcedo, GAD Director and OUS Deputy Director for Administration, Planning, and Quality Assurance Dr. Romary R. Lincod, OUS Deputy Director for Extesion Dr. Erna M. Salazar, and OUS GAD Coordinator Dr. Presley V. de Vera, the said extension activity reached out to over forty (40) fish farmers, processors, and traders.
Furthermore, the 2-day training program is viewed as a necessary step towards concretizing the governmentโs commitment to addressing the gender gaps that impede the attainment of the full potential of unique individuals and of various institutions.
