Ms. Arianne Joy R. Castillo completed her Masters Degree in Education major in Educational Management Batch 2018 and is now pursuing her doctorate in education at Pangasinan State University’s Open University Systems.

She initially enrolled at PSU due to the encouragement of a colleague. She later realized that PSU is more than a school; it is a family. All of the professors she has met at PSU have been really helpful and accommodating. She can talk to them about anything, at any time and at any place, and she has even become friends with them.

All of her professors have taught her a great deal. Sir Alfredo Aquino and Sir Phillip Queroda, two renowned lecturers, hold a special place in her heart and inspire her. They both demonstrated to her that age is not a barrier to motivating students. Her younger self aspires to be Sir Phillip, while her future self, want to be Sir Aquino. She admires their perseverance from the bottom of her heart.

Because she is confident in her postgraduate degrees, she finds it easy to choose a desired occupation. She is currently the Humanities Department Chair and the Social Studies Lead Teacher at NIVA International School in Bangkok. She has taught AP Psychology and High School Social Studies. She’s also planning on starting her next career adventure later this year, God willing.
PSU played a significant role in her current career success. The financial rewards of holding postgraduate degrees from a well-known university, as well as the new responsibilities entrusted to her.
