Alluded as 7th Top Performing SUC in the Philippines and 1st in the Region by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities of the Philippines or AACCUP, Pangasinan State University (PSU) continuously sets its bar high in providing quality education to students through its high-level accredited curricular offerings.

PSU had achieved accreditation and re-accreditation of sixteen programs in 2017. Accreditation seeks to confirm if the programs have substantially achieved its objectives which is contributory in attaining quality education, approval of propose funding and other support, levelling programโ€™s standards of excellence, and administrative decision-making.

PSU Bayambang Campus was re-accredited for Level IV Phase 2 in its two education programs such as Bachelor of Elementary Education and Bachelor of Secondary Education. It can be recalled that the campus was also granted by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) with Centers of Excellence for the said two education programs. The campus also re-accredited its AB in English and BS in Information and Communication Technology Programs for Level II.

Meanwhile, the AB in Economics and BS in Industrial Technology Programs of PSU Lingayen Campus had their Level III Accreditation. While the AB in English Program underwent Level III re-accreditation.

Here are some of the accreditation results passed by some of the campuses: for Asingan Campus, BS in Industrial Technology (Level III Re-accredited); for Binmaley Campus, BS in Fisheries (Level III), BS in Criminology and BS in Environmental Science (Level I); for San Carlos City Campus, Bachelor of Elementary Education (Level II Re-accredited), Bachelor of Secondary Education, BS in Business Administration, and BS in Information Technology (Level I); and for Sta. Maria Campus, BS in Agribusiness Management and BS in Agricultural Engineering (Level I).

Over-all, from its 74 baccalaureate and graduate programs, PSU achieved as of 2017 the following accreditations: 2 level IV re-accredited, 5 level III re-accredited, 3 level III accredited, 12 level II re-accredited, 24 level I accredited, and 13 level I candidate programs.
