๐—Ÿ๐—œ๐—ก๐—š๐—”๐—ฌ๐—˜๐—ก, ๐—ฃ๐—”๐—ก๐—š๐—”๐—ฆ๐—œ๐—ก๐—”๐—กโ€” Manifesting this yearโ€™s theme of the National Womenโ€™s Month โ€œ๐˜ž๐˜Œ ๐˜ง๐˜ฐ๐˜ณ ๐˜Ž๐˜ฆ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฅ๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ ๐˜Œ๐˜ฒ๐˜ถ๐˜ข๐˜ญ๐˜ช๐˜ต๐˜บ ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ฅ ๐˜๐˜ฏ๐˜ค๐˜ญ๐˜ถ๐˜ด๐˜ช๐˜ท๐˜ฆ ๐˜š๐˜ฐ๐˜ค๐˜ช๐˜ฆ๐˜ต๐˜บโ€, the Pangasinan State University- Open University Systems (PSU- OUS), in partnership with the Lingayen Campus and Gender and Development Office, held a ๐ฟ๐‘–๐‘ฃ๐‘’๐‘™๐‘–โ„Ž๐‘œ๐‘œ๐‘‘ ๐‘‡๐‘Ÿ๐‘Ž๐‘–๐‘›๐‘–๐‘›๐‘” ๐‘ƒ๐‘Ÿ๐‘œ๐‘—๐‘’๐‘๐‘ก 1 ๐‘“๐‘œ๐‘Ÿ ๐‘ƒ๐‘’๐‘Ÿ๐‘ ๐‘œ๐‘›๐‘  ๐ท๐‘’๐‘๐‘Ÿ๐‘–๐‘ฃ๐‘’๐‘‘ ๐‘œ๐‘“ ๐ฟ๐‘–๐‘๐‘’๐‘Ÿ๐‘ก๐‘ฆ last March 16 โ€“ 17 at the Pangasinan Provincial Jail.

Forty (40) Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) were blessed to receive various learnings on SOGIESC, marketing strategies, and financial management. Furthermore, the said two-day event featured trainings on food and beverage service, rag making, nail care, and hilot massage wellness.

The aforementioned topics were respectively led by the following esteemed speakers: Dr. Presley V. de Vera, OUS GAD Coordinator, on Basic GAD Concepts and SOGIESC, Ms. Cheenie Rose B. Bermas on Financial Management and Marketing Strategies, Dr. Mondey May M. Ferndandez on Food and Beverage Service, Ms. Rosanta V. Alibin on Rag Making, Ms. Arlene A. De Guzman on Nail Care and Mr. Rexian Noah V. Zareno on Hilot Massage Wellness.

As advocates of gender equality and inclusivity, the entire PSU-OUS family, led by Dr. Phillip G. Queroda, executive director, and deputy directors Dr. Erna M. Salazar (Academic, Research, and Extension), and Dr. Romary R. Lincod, (Administration, Planning, and Quality Assurance) and University GAD coordinator, Dr. Renato Salcedo, Campus Executive Director of PSU Lingayen, and Dr. Cristie Marie C. Dalisay, ETEEAP Director, expresses its utmost appreciation and gratitude to the Ret. Col. Lovell V. Dalisay, PPJ Head, Barangay Chairperson of Poblacion, Lingayen, Provincial Administrator Hon.
